How we got here.
We started Local Nerds as a marketing company. Strategy, campaigns, content, the usual. Good work. Happy clients. But one thing kept bothering us.
Every service business we worked with had the same problem: their website was either embarrassingly bad or embarrassingly expensive. Sometimes both.
The HVAC company paying $5,000 a month for an agency that moved slowly. The plumber with a site his nephew built in 2017. The insurance agent whose "web presence" was a Facebook page and a prayer.
We kept seeing it. Over and over. Across every vertical.
So we leaned into AI. Hard. We built over 70 AI agents for different parts of our business. Content generation. Market research. SEO analysis. Campaign management. The more we automated, the more we realized: we could deliver agency-quality work at a completely different price point.
SiteNerd is that realization turned into a product.

Reu started Local Nerds in Windsor, Colorado with a simple belief: small and mid-size businesses deserve the same caliber of digital strategy that the big guys get. They just shouldn't have to pay big-guy prices for it.
Before Local Nerds, Reu spent years in the trenches of digital marketing, watching the industry charge premium rates for work that was increasingly being done by templates and junior staff. When AI tools got good enough to actually deliver, he went all in.
